Turning 50 didn't hurt at all! AARP will soon be sending you all their information, your peers start calling you "Sir" and for some magical reason, you are no longer a threat to the testosterone toting youths! But, do watch for those surprise parties! You won't recover as fast as you use to!
If people do insist on presents, ask for one item for every year you've been around. Even 50 biners would be sweet!
