The ECU Adventure center will be hoting the 9th Annual Flatlander's Fling Climbing Competition November 19. Climbing Competition
Join us for the 9th Annual Flatlander's Fling! New routes will be set for the competition, making a fun and exciting day for all climbers and spectators! The competition levels for men and women will be beginner, intermediate, and advanced. Prizes will be given for all levels, and there will be free food, music, and raffles. Register early in the Adventure Center or register on competition day 12:30-1:30pm. The first 30 to register will receive a free t-shirt, so sign up today! This event is open to non-students, everyone is welcome! This event will feature an Access Fund member drive and a raffle to benefit the Access Fund! Help protect your climbing future and join/donate to the Access Fund, which helps keep climbing areas open. The Access Fund is a non-profit organization and all donations are tax deductible.

Some of the prizes we have recieved so far: 60M Maxim rope, pulleys 8's, and harnesses from CMI, moosejaw stuff, mountain gear gift certificates, pro deal on sterling rope, tons of stuff from gear express, mountain hardware vertex jacket, subscritions to rock and ice, gripped, and alpinist, Mammut rope bag, shirts, a jacket, books, and tons of other goodies from the access fund............ lots of food gift certificates and tons of free food for the day of the event...... hopefully all the prizes will be listed on the website this week!!!!!!!!!!!!
