I hear that gear is very expensive in Australia... how much do you usually pay for a pair - say - Sportiva Katanas?

Red Chili Spirit "Impact Zone" velcros. Great shoe at a decent price, plus they still turn my feet red!

I love my Red Chili Dos Equis for bouldering, especially after I tore of the rubber and put some C4 on em. I like my Leos as an all around shoe. For Trad and long climbs I like the Sportiva Barracuda.

5.10 anasazi lace ups are my fave. sized so my toes are almost flat they edge very well for easy to moderate face climbing and they're comfortable enough for jamming in cracks.

I have a pair of Mad Rock Flashs' They are the best shoe that I have every worn. The velcro makes them quick and easy to get in and out of, and they feel good all day.

Red Chile Voodoo's no-one seems to wear them, so you get the individuality bonus too, but all in all they're a quality bit of kit!

Scarpa Vision (lace up). Fits my small and long foot like a glove. Smooth leather surface inside is good to my foot skin. Snug and comfortable fit. Superb quality, best of all climbing shoes I ever had (La Sportiva, FiveTen, Mammut). Select size smaller. I have 43 1/2 with Scarpa, 44 1/2 with La Sportiva, 10 1/2 UK with Mammut (Blast) and 11 1/2 UK with FiveTen. If you can get one, give this Scarpa shoe a try.

I have a pair of the LaSportiva Mythos and a pair of the Mad Rock Flashes. I really like the Flashes because they are easy to get on and off. Both pairs are pretty comfortable to me.
