Hey, i am heading down to TN in a few days and i am thinking of trying to spend a while around t-wall and Chattanooga and that general area. I have heard that cars are a regular target, and since i am on the road for a while i really don't want my car to get broken into. I have also been told that camping is not that easy or cheap in that area, or at least remotly safe camping. Anyone got some ideas?? I most likely will be looking for partners as well. P

I will probably be there on saturday (11/19). Most people that camp will pitch a tent behind the parking lot and I dont think that breakins have been a real problem lately.

This was posted on our local climbing web pages. Not sure who got it or where. May or may not affect your plans. T Sam November 11 - 12 November 26 - December 1 The T-Wall is CLOSED to climbing on these dates. Thank you for your cooperation. These are the dates for managed hunts on Prentice-Cooper State Forest and WMA. The forest west of Hwy 27 (Suck Creek Road) will be closed to all visitors except hunters on these dates. The area east of Hwy 27 including Roadside, the Upper Passes and Edwards Point will remain open.
