Hi,
I'm heading to Chalten at the end of January. I'm planning on being there for 1.5 months.
Any of you is gonna be there? wanna hook up?
My partner got injured two weeks ago and doesn't know if he'll recover properly for the trip.

Hola Jose,
I emailed you back after your initial reply. I will send it again. Looking to put something together down there, I have a little more time to get gear from Alaska to Cumana so it would be good to talk soon. Check your email and let me know. Yo Jose,
Yeah I mean the Weather. I felt like a Bandit makin' out there in Mid Feb. Last year. So I couldn't tell from your email if your partner is OKAY or not, or if you are looking for a 'back-up' or what. Please clarify. Will try to email some beta on myself soon, busy with work, Chao.

oh man. wish i could! i spent a month in patagonia last year and loved it. and yet hardly climbed at all. was solo and had no gear. i ache to go back. if you are looking to do technical rock climbing in chalten, i hear there are only a handfull of developed routes (despite the MILES of rock). if you are planning on some assault on on of the peaks or spires, you are a bolder man than i. hope you find a partner and have at it!

Hello,I had the same problem with my partner and my flight is schedule for January 31st.What gear do you bring with you and which route you plan to go for?Give me more details to meet you in Chalten or Bridwell camp or other...I have planned 1.5 months in Cerro-Fitz area,see you/

hi serge,
what's your email?
i wanna have a look at the big ones, classic routes, depending on conditions. anyway, there are many minor peaks for shorter weather windows.
