I'm going to be out in St. Louis between the 18th and the 25th. Is anyone interested in climbing early morning weekend or late nite weekday? Second question, do they really charge 5 bucks for a belay check? Most places around here charge a buck or not at all...

I can't remember on the charges but I do remember they weren't cheap to visit.

if i remember right, there is no charge for a belay test, but there is a $5 inititation fee. it is pretty expensive, like 12 bucks or so to climb.

if you can't find any partners on the here, they do have 3 auto-belays, and if you in it shouldn't be too hard to find someone to climb with you.

have fun while you are here, it's not the best place for climbing, but there are a lot of cool things to do in st. louis.

I lived in st. louis between 2002 and 2003. approx. 1 year and I'm going back to visit some friends.
Well 5$ bucks for an "initiation fee" plus 12 to climb is about what I pay here in NY to climb once. I'll probablly going on a weekday night to catch the after work crowd.

Thanks

Sean
