I figured the best people to ask would be women. I am a guy with narrow feet and narrow heels. I love the anasazi velcro, but have always hated the way the heel was so mushy. I am considering the women's anasazi velcro, but I'm not sure about sizing. I know that many women have had to wear mens climbing shoes due to the lack of variety in the women specific models. My normal anasazi velcro size in mens is 9 and I size them pretty darn tight. What would be a comparable size in the women's model, if there is any difference at all (are the ladies shoes sized in men's sizes?)? thanks. JB

Women's sizing is generally 1.5 off from men's, so men's 9 is about a women's 10.5. That said, your best bet is definitely to find somewhere to try them on first. You can always order them online afterward.

I have a pair of women's and three pairs (five pairs total since I've started climbing). I always rely on the Euro sizing and found that a 39 in men's does not equal a 39 in womens. Definitely find a store and try them on.
