I have been indoor climbing for about 6 years now and did my first lead outside today. A few of us went to Birdsboro Quarry in Pennsylvania. I cleaned a few routes first. Then I did an easy 5.6 for my lead. It was awesome. It was a day full of anxiety tho b/c everytime I got to the top of a route when cleaning, it felt so weird to sit back on the slings and take the rope off me so I could put them through the rings. It will take me a while to get use to that feeling. My stomach is still all a mess.

Anywasy my name is Tim and I am new here. TTYL :D

It was sport. I hope to do some trad following this summer in the Gunks. I am not ready to set on trad at all. In the future I would love to tho. I guess its good to be scared a little. It makes you really check everything better and just reminds you that your living.
