Just wondering if there are any out there who use this site. Seems to be a taboo group. The ones i do know keep it secret from other climbers.

what does being a climber and a republican and a climber have to do with anything... this is stupid because it should not matter if you are a republican or even gay and also a climber. If you are a climber then you are tight and good in my book.

I believe this is true. But I for one am a Red White and Blue blooded Republican from Chicago. Knowing that most of my fellow climbers are Dems. I'm not super outspoken about my political views, but by no means try to hide them. I've found when I do talk about politics my climber buddies tend to get quiet and look uncomfortable. I wish they'd debate a little more. One of my best buddies back in college was about as far liberal as I am conservative and we had some great, week-long drunken political discussions.

All in all that said, I have some serious issues with the Republican party at the moment. I don't know why Bush is pushing the "guest worker" program. :::Sigh::: If you don't enforce your borders, you don't have a country. Have you ever heard any of regulations regarding emmigrating to Mexico?
