Hmmmm let's see... electronic portfolios and Baroque art vs. kitchen cabinets and home construction problems ... that's a tough call.... which would we rather talk about.... I'm going with Anne's shop. She's got tits. 8^) Morning all.

Last week of class before finals, ugh and I have so much to do if I want to keep my good grades. Can't wait to be out in NC in the fall. How's the weather Anne? I am going to be studying cholerae, did you know it is one of the most rapidly killing diseases known to man, it can kill you in 1-2 hours and from what you ask? Explosive diarrhea and toxins, no joke.

morning kids - let the month of hell begin! This weekend, bachelorette party #1 for future sister in law and shoe shopping for bridesmaid dresses, followed by dropping dresses off to be altered for June 2nd wedding. Next weekend, bachelorette part #2 in Florida for future sister in law. Don't ask, I'm going and not happy about it, but my ticket got paid for so that was a bonus! Weekend following - in NH to see mom and sister as well as check out reception for my own freaking wedding and sign contracts/ put despoit down if we like it. Memorial day weekend - fly to DC for friends wedding on Sunday. Return that Monday. Work Tuesday. Leave early Wednesday to drive to Michigan for the 'wedding from hell' as we affectionately now call it! Whew. I'm tired just thinking about it... xxxxxxxxxxl coffee!!! :D

Abi, Don't forget, June 9-11 the Rumney Gathering. You're gonna need some decompress time. Sorry to hear you got roped into the Florida thing, but at least the airfare did get covered. I suggest drinking heavily.

From yesterday's coffee house...
In reply to: In reply to: Oh and talking of tying the knot, JR asked me to marry him last time we met...... I agreed. David, you going to do it on Yam??! Yay! You have a date? The date is tentitively set for summer 2008. We were thinking about this summer, but decided not to for logistical reasons. Emilie is still covered under her parents health benifits and I don't have a steady job. In addition, Emilie doesn't want to have to deal with all the issues of changing her name while still in school. So we decided to wait for the summer after our four month summer in Europe.

way to go on the salon ~T congrats to both you and hanger.......he should do a driveby now and then. cute lil' puppy. dookie, you're in wedding hell i feel for ya woman. I had to do stuff like that over 20 years ago for my best friend. I probably had more tolerance back then. THis too will pass     daughter came home from band trip yesterday. They won a few awards......yippee and from what i've been told, it was a good time!!!!! on a serious note a local kid died from a drug overdose on the weekend. he was my son's age. Very sad, but it makes me very angry, that it happened. he died from a lethal cocktail of booze, meth, coke and ectasy. Even in a small town of 3500 shit like this happens. And all the 'friends' are in the town square crying, laying flowers, the public mourning scene. These are the same kids doing the drugs with him. Fuck, you'd think they'd learn. I hugged my son a bit harder yesterday and thanked him for making responsible choices in his life.

~T.... your salon is in Portland? I wish it was closer so you could do my hair!! Congrats on that and the puppy! Just filling out the contract for the horse, yikes, it's a lot of money. Hope it's warm enough to at least climb this weekend... Can I just say I want a new family...I think I am going to strangle my sister. Guess where she is moving? Life isn't fair. We also lost the hockey game last night, sucks balls.

That kinda stuff really sucks and it's sad that it happens so often. Congrats though on raising a pair of kids who know enough to make the right choices!

I would say morning, but its 3:30, so I'll go with 'afternoon everyone.' Signed up to enter my first road race next weekend. The local Race for the Cure 5K. I'm planning to do a triathlon in July, so I thought entering the race would support a good cause ad help me get use to being in a race setting. Never done anything like this before! I usually stay away from competitive events because I don't consider myself very athletic. I teel you what though, its great motivation for working out! Last night Iw found another tri that is a a month after the original one and its a bit longer. Thinking about entering that one too because I think it will be a really test of what I can do. Of course, this is all contingent on my training time not interfering with climbing time!!! I've got priorities!! :D

T congrats on the salon. Ben, Anne should not be allowed to use the steps. There should be a rap station there for her. Marge, so sad about the kid. Those things really make you appreciate yours and their choices. Cb, congrats and good luck on the 5k. I can still remember mine and the apprehension. Btw those short tri's, if there still the same, were very fast. Sprint tuneups for the folks used to the long ones.

In reply to: way to go on the salon ~T congrats to both you and hanger.......he should do a driveby now and then. It's been a busy three months sorting through docs and crunching numbers... I was sitting in one of the stylist's chairs thinking, "Wow...this is real." I still chuckle inside when I'm giving presentations during meetings and folks are listening to me like I actually know what I'm talking about. I often still see myself as a kid who has no business in business, much less business management...but here I am...companies are improving operations by incorporating my ideas...so maybe it's not a fluke...but I chuckle anyway. Moving along...we have an excellent, well-established staff. Everyone is truly excited with the direction we are taking the business and we’re really looking forward to this next phase.

So Rob, you're like what, the shampoo boy? Do all the ladies call you Mr. Magic Fingers? Anyway, congratulations and here's to a booked up appointment schedule.
