Last Sunday I was climbing West Crack in Tuolumne and while my partner was leading he managed to drop or somehow lose all the small cams. This included three of my Aliens - blue, green, and yellow. They were marked with purple & green tape. There may also be some BD micro-camalots along with them (not sure which or how many - probably marked with gray tape). If anyone finds them, please PM or email me. I know, I know ... booty. But I guess I believe in karma ...

Sorry about your loss! But I admit I am curious... how do you drop multiple cams at once, unless you drop the whole rack?

In reply to: Sorry about your loss! But I admit I am curious... how do you drop multiple cams at once, unless you drop the whole rack? Juggling contest while on the wall... happens to me all the time, I lose more good cams that way.

In reply to: But I admit I am curious... how do you drop multiple cams at once, unless you drop the whole rack? I don't know about this guy, but I rack a few cams per biner, especially in the smaller sizes. Unconventional, I know, and diminishes some of the "plug and go" aspect of cams, but I rack on my harness and don't like having so many biners there.

yeah, i'm the same as snoop. while i'm still getting my sizes down, i rack 2 cams to a biner in my smaller sizes. once i'm a little more efficient i'll switch them to seperate biners. good luck in getting them back!

I'm told that the gear has been found, and was turned in to the TM mountain shop. Thanks to Trevor - you are the man !!

Man, Your partner drops or losses your cams... It's his responsibility to replace them. If one of my partners dropped my gear and didn't immediately swear there gonna replace it at the gear shop A.S.A.P., I suspect they'd be without a partner and I'd be inclined to create a "Sir Drops-a-lot" post, complete with picture...
