Hi… I'm an alpinist looking for a climbing partner for alpine routes in Nepal or Pakistan August/September/October 2006, I have lots of time but not as much money. Me...I'm very experienced, easy going, alpinist interested in hooking up with other like minded climbers ; Are there many other climbing bums out there?; to climb peaks at the minimum cost in Pakistan, China, India or Nepal, 2006 through 2007. I've been climbing full-time for the last year so I am fairly fit, (my current partner has just left for home, damn!). I'm currently based in north India but I am very mobile and interested in anything (mixed, trad, big walls, alpine, mountaineering) in North/West Asia. Post a reply if interested. Thanks

i just came back from trekking in the Karakatoum Mountain range and look interested in doing broad peak possibly next year if you are about. i am a climbing bum with little money doing volunteer work in balakot and manshera. when i am not climbing i am trekking and rock climbing solo so i am somewhat fit and technical. either way i think i am up for climbing next year as the snow and heavy winds season is kicking in.

Thanks for the information. I heard from a Dutch guy trying G4 that the weather has been very bad recently. I've been lounging in Delhi sorting a partner for Nepal for one whole crazy/terrible? week! but it looks like I am on my way to Nepal now, perhaps then on to the Quinlong mountains in Central China a bit later. Keep in touch, if I am around I would be very keen for broad peak(Well anything) next year. My email address is matthew_quirke@hotmail.com..
