youve made two mistakes.

first is not a real mistake, but you really should use bbcode insted of html in the forum post. for some reason only logged in users can view pics that are html posted.

the second (and real) mistake is the wrong picture url. you provided the url of the pictures webpage and not the picture itself (and even then you couldve just ended the url with "photo_show.php?id=78809" and omit all the searching and sorting values, and you definitely do not need the "border=0" tag)

you can get the real url of the picture by right clicking it and selecting "copy image location", "copy image url" or somsuch or selecting properties and copying the url from there.

so the two correct codes are:

bbcode:

Code

gets you:

http://www.rockclimbing.com/...p.cgi?Detailed=78809

html:

Code

gets you:

that, my friend, i dont know. youll have to wait for a fellow mac user to tell you.

and they say one button is enough

anyway, even without the properties you can get it from the page source. just open the page source and search for "photos.rockclimbing.com". there is the url, somewhere near the bottom.

another way to get it would be to recreate the photo storage algorithm;

you see, a photo whose page url is

Code
http://www.rockclimbing.com/photo/photo_show.php?id=xyzab

has the "real url"

Code
http://photos.rockclimbing.com/photos//xyz/xyzab.jpg

so, in our case, that would be:

page url:

Code
http://www.rockclimbing.com/photo/photo_show.php?id=78754

photo url:

Code
http://photos.rockclimbing.com/photos//787/78754.jpg

thought i dont know how and/or if this system is about to change with either the new rc.com code or when the numbers go beyond 99999.
