I have had this image for a few years now, and assumed that it was what it claimed to be, which was "Regal Peak".

But the only "Regal Peak" I can find is this one in Alaska.

Situated in Wrangell-St. Elias National Park, with a summit elevation of 13,845', it's an impressive looking mountain, but hardly the one in the photo above.
Does anyone have any idea's what mountain this may be in the (top) photo?

PS: The same peak in Alaska is referred to as both "Regal Peak" and "Regal Mountain"

Is this one of your own pictures? Did you take it along the Icefields Parkway, because it looks like one of the peaks on the west side around the Slipstream (Snowdome) area.

Looks like House Peak on the Icefields parkway, what with the NE butress in the foreground. Defenetly in full winter conditions :) Not sure but it looks like it.

Not I didn't take it, or I would at least know *where* it was.
I agree Icefield Parkway, thought that from the first time I saw it.

It is in fact "Howse Peak", I thought it was, but something just wasn't right about it, and I figured out what it is.
The winter photo is reversed/mirrored

Cool. I drove right by it this summer and took a bunch of pics. I didn't realize that it was in fact the Howse peak I had read about it. There are some badass routes on it in winter; M-16 and Howse of Cards come to mind.

Amazing how it changes orientation due to season.... :lol: Funny.... I thought that the winter pic was what it would look like if it were back home Downunder, where everything is the reverse. :wink:
Hmmm, I'm pretty sure I have a slide pic of that same mountain.

I thought something was wrong with it. The exit snow ramp from the north face being on the right usually. Pardon my spelling mistake.
