Hey i've heard legend of a bivy ledge around pitch 12 that is covered with feces and smells like a toilet... does anyone know if there is another bivy ledge? i know it can be done in a day, but why not have the experience i'm looking for?? Anyway, if anyone has beta i'd love to hear about it. A friend and i are going to climb it this new years.

The local guides have cleaned up the bivy area extensively so that they can bring clients on the route. I think its a great idea - have fun!

Bivy ledge was good when I did it. But that was when it was first put up. What wasnt good was climbing with 2 sleeping bags, food and water in my backpack. Hauling on the slab limestone just wasnt working. Still fun though.
