Close to street shoe sizing in my opinion. That is if you are looking for a snug (but not painful) performance fit. I always take them off after doing my route. I've never worn then for more than 30 minutes at a time. My sons, however, spend hours in them. Katanas are forgiving if your feet run wide. Nice shoe. I think you will like it.

I find La Sportiva sizes their shoes QUITE generously. I'm wearing the Katanas as a performance shoe, and sized them fairly small. After breaking them in however, I'm able to wear them all day long. I wear a size 13US street shoe, and a 10.5 katana For comparison, I wear the 11.5 Anasazi lace up

I wear an 11.5-12 street shoe depending on the brand. I wore Mythos in 43.5, and that is the same size I get my Katanae in. The fit is snug but not painful. I wear my Miuras in 44. My only European size street shoe is a 46. I wear Evolv's in a 12, and 5-10's in the same size. Although the Katana does not stretch, the last loses its zing, and they become great shoes to go out and have fun in. The Miuras keep their shape better and are, in my opinion better, for aggressive climbing. Also the laces allow me to cinch them on my feet so that they fit like a glove, whereas velcro shoes are going to tend more to having pressure points. If you like the Katana, you will love the Miura.

I rock a size 10.5 in my Adidas street shoes, and I generally wear a 42 or 42.5 in Sportiva shoes (two pairs of Mythos and some older ones). I bought my Katanas after I'd been climbing for a couple of years at size 40.5. They work well, but they're honestly too tight. If I were buying them now, I'd go for 41 or even 41.5. They're mad nice shoes, though, with heel cups that are perfect for normal humans.
