Even though I am from Texas, I go to school in Nebraska. Anyone on here from NE and knows of places to go? The whole state is so damn flat. Any helpful tips will be much appreciated.

There's a small but dedicated community of climbers here in Nebraska. Most of the Lincoln climbers are UNL students (but not all, myself included). I'm a route setter at UNL so I go there often.

There's also a few of us with small walls. Omaha has a good indoor wall but their freestanding boulder is the best reason to go there.

Most of my regular climbing partners and I are boulderers but I like it all. We do multiple roadtrips throughout the year (a few are back in Texas for break and another group leave for Red Rocks this week). About 30 to 40 of us go to Shelf Road CO in early April....always a good time. I may be going to Joshua Tree in March also.

PM me for details. I'm recovering from a broken wrist so I won't be climbing for another 3 weeks.

Doug
