If you could take a 4 day weekend anywhere in the continental US (not Potrero) in the end of March where would it be. Need cheap camping, easy trad and/or moderate sport and some bouldering would be a plus but not necessary. Red Rock Rendezvous would be too crowded, but anything other than that. Thanks.

Tucson area is nice. The Mt. Lemmon area has a ton of routes and you can also drive down to Cochise Stronghold.

I guess it matters where you're coming from. Shelf Road will be pretty warm by then and theres good trad nearby in the South Platte/ 11 Mile area. Southern Utah is another option

Joshua Tree. Bouldering everywhere you look. Trad routes everywhere all ranges. Just don't climb anything with the word "dung" in it (in all of it's spellings) the route will definatley throw some schat your way. One of the main reasons I love going to JTree is because of the "spirit" of the place. Actually the hubby and I will be there the first part of Apr. btw, if you're planning on roadtripping with your favorite four legged companion, leash law is definatley in effect. And watch out for coyotes. If you don't let your dog stay in the tent with you don't take one.
