here are some pictures from my trip to J-tree. notice that most of them are from Illusion dweller. Didn't have the wife taking pics on much else...
family portriat. Too bad it's washed out...
Getting started. Note the excess gear

There's actually a nice little seat up there to belay from...
Here's one from Indian cove, on Dutches Right. The olny climb I did there. My wife did Dutches after climbinginchico lead it for her.

That's it for now. The trip was really good, but I don't have much to say about it except for it was really cold and thanks to holdplease2 and climibnginchico for letting me use their gear.

Yeah, that was a sweet lead!! It's all thanks to the extra attentive belayer, skinny rope, and nice trad rack.

oh yeay, edit to add:
And re: t-shirts, it was super cold in the shade, but in the sun, it wasn't that bad. My wife was pretty pissed when I was doing Illusion Dweller because there was ice on the rocks in the little canyon but as soon as I got out of the shadows on the rock, I was actually sweating. It was that warm in the sun. Wife was in the shade the whole time though. Not too happy. She took the photos then left. She may have been yelling at me a little, I'm not sure ;) And when the wife was climbing, I was holding the kid. holdplease2 belayed her. Climbinginchico and I hung out with baby boy.
