My parents climbed on mt yonah in Helen Ga. during their dating years. My mom is now dead and it was her wish to have her ashes scattered there. I haven't climbed there in 15 years. As far as I know there were acess issues from private land owners concerning access to the mtn. Does anyone know anything about this? Help would be appreciated.

I was up there a few months ago. No access issues if you park in the designated area at the base, but a pretty long hike in (2-3 miles I think).

They completed a new trail about a year or so ago. It cuts about 45 minutes off the hike in. See links below...
