First of all i gotta say the trip remains as a memory for life.

In the end we got 8 person ,with 1:30 h delay we begun the trip, after about 3 hours of driving(280km) with 2 taxis we arrived at Dorud (means two river) from there we took the train...

The train station, reminds a lot of those european train stations from the second world war was a sight view i enjoyed it a lot, though a cold night it was.
The train was full so we had no real space to rest,we arrived at something around 1 am at the "Tale Zang" station, from there we had to hike...we stood the night there to break up for around 8 am, at the same night another group came aswell and also two french climbers we talked a bit and slept at around 3 am.

The next morning was all hiking day first we crossed the bridge over the river,then some hours of walking on sand,another few hours on river stones and after 4 hours we had to cross the river once again,Siavash(Paul) took the lead to jump on the stones in order to stay dry suddenly he flipped over and landed in the river on his back he couldn't stay up again since his backpack was so heavy he couldn't catch breath since his head was under water,thankfully we got him out and crossed the river,after resting we had to hike through a landscape full of grass was a sight view!

We lost each other in the grass lands, and found each other again in the forrest(the village Shevy), pretty crazy,from there we had about 1 hour hiking to reach the waterfall,finally after 6:30 hours of hiking we hit the spot i was dying.

Two tents,8 sleep bags,enough food for 1 week,and a total of over 30 kg(~70lbs) bread.

The next day we went to swim a bit, got friend with our neighboring campers and supplied ourself with plenty of wood,exactly at 3:35am was new year so happy Norooz!

Plan was that we come back at the third day, but we wanted to stay more....so a little abseiling from the waterfall and bouldering also was my first time doing DWS,next morning at 9:30 am we started to hike back,once again the train was too full but it was great watching the landscape from out of the window....i caught a cold,uhhh...i loved the trip we were 8 closest friends 6 boys 2 girls, and it's a memory for life, and as it looks like we are going on another trip on thursdayCool...I'm ready!!!

ps: i do got more pix, I turned down the quality.

Nice pictures. Sounds like it was a great trip. Was this in Iran, or did you leave the country?

No it was in Iran Lorestan province,and in the very north of dezful city, the waterfall is located in the south west of iran.

a little info;

the only way to hit the spot is to hike from the "Tale zang" train station, there is no safe way to go beyond the city Dezful...since there are all green valleys and Lor' territory there are a lot of rubbers.
Infact the waterfall itself is unsafe too, we had much luck and as i mentioned we got friend with some inhabitans of there.
