I may have some time in mid to late July to do some climbing, preferably aid. I am an aid noob (just working with stuff at small crags.) I'd like to do something on the NF of the Glass like Invisible Air., Glass, or whatever. I want/need to learn aid well for my 40th Birthday Ascent of the Captain in a couple of years.
I am 37 yo with @ 15 years of climbing background. I am now old and fat, relatively speaking, have a family and job and all that, so those of you in similar roles understand where I am coming from.

Whats up?
Hey I am interested, 30, 6yrs. climbing, I am working on my aid leading skills, last aug. I was part of a three man team that climb the nose up to dolt tower. I just cleaned, I can lead c-1 on aid, but need to work on my hook/cam hook skills!! (scary) Anyway we did some prep work at the glass last year for the nose. I have a goal of sending the second pitch or Invisible Airwaves this summer/fall? Or at least put my best foot foward. I'm looking for partners for Glass Menagerie. I live in Asheville & have a fairly flexible schedule, so drop me a line if you ever want to meet up.
I'd consider myself somewhat experienced at aiding. GM should be well within my abilities--I don't think I'm in shape enough that I'd want to do it in a day, but I'm up for a 2 day trip. We could either fix & blast or do it scenic cruise style with beer and portaledges.
