Hi, I was going to be in the Denver area the weekend of August 24th. I was planning on heading towards Boulder for the weekend. I was looking at getting a day of bouldering in. If you had only a day where would you go? Also, any recommendations for camping/sleeping for the weekend. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

No idea about the bouldering, but it shouldn't matter. The boulder people are super friendly, especially when it comes to newbies and out of towners. They just love to share, and give opinions on different crags.

You may need more than a weekend, as good crags are very few and far between in the Boulder area.

Here's the site info on climbing around Boulder. There are numerous state parks and camping areas around there :)

God Bless,

Horsetooh resevoir and carter lake are both pretty famous bouldering areas. Also rocky mountain national park has tons of boulders.
