Hi, I just moved to Eureka and I'm looking to start climbing again indoors and outdoors. Is it true only students and their guests can climb at the HSU gym? Is there a new gym opening soon? How is outdoor climbing in the winter rainy months here? Is anyone in the area looking for a climbing partner? Only checked out moonstone so far.

I too have been checking out the scene and there is a new gym that is limited to a small bouldering area that should be expanding. I've been told that the HSU wall is a good place to meet climbers, but is also small for an indoor gym. I would love to get outside though so you should let me know your situation and we can possibly get out to do some climbing.
