I wish the people on this site would learn to spell, or at least learn to use the spell checker.

Josh I wish people would stop saying "anal" when they really mean "anal retentive." It paints an icky picture, and personally, I don't care to think about how anal notch is getting, in or out of his bedroom. But maybe that's just me being anal. retentive, that is.

I might upgrade to 10 or 12 mm slings. Every now and then I think about updating all my racking and sling biners, then get vapor locked. I guess I'll put that off for a while longer.

Arcteryx Verro or Vapor harness. I get to send back the one that doesn't fit. Trango squid. Other than that I am happy. I am going to Chicago to visit my brother after new years and I am going to Shelf Road over New Years so I have a nice schedule for the break.

Has anyone seen a chart of strenth ratings for these puppies yet? I'd imagine they'd be comparable to the tcus, but I'd certainly want to know before climbing above them.

From the catalog: "Each one is thoroughly inspected and every unit is tested to 5 kN" No more info about its rated strength... Anyways, it's interesting that they are already available at mountaingear but not at metolius website. Also, the unit pictured in the catalog seems a bit different from the ones in the picture above, and lacks the "range finder" (not that I think that to be an essential feature, anyways)... I'll wait for some "field tests" before dropping my money on them, but they can be a cool alternative to the now infamous aliens.
