....a major NorEaster...starting on Sunday...should get over 2' feet up at Smuggs...."be there or be nose hair"...see ya... MaD
In reply to: Then all eyes will be on the developing Nor'easter for the end of the weekend. Saturday will be the calm before the storm, with some sunshine in the morning. But it will cloud up and the snow will be developing Saturday night and continue through the day on Sunday. It will be windy and there is the potential for 6-12" of snow or more from this coastal storm.

Bring it on. Could this turn out to be one of those Classic New England winters that is long over-due? Snow has been on the ground since early December - things are looking good. Skiing has been great. Now I want to take a day to go thwack my new Quarks at Chapel Pond.

But seriously, I was just climbing in Bolton, and while we were there it snowed 3 inches. We were there for an hour.

Fuckers, the whole lot of you! Where I live in Wisconsin we did not get a single flake of fucking snow. Or regular snow for that matter. The storm may have clipped the southeast corner of Wisconsin and left some white wet coldness there but I don't know yet.

SNOW DAY! Work just called, there's not enough people coming in to shop because of the storm, so I don't have to go in and they're shutting the place down! I'm totally going boozing and sledding soon!
