macallan 1991 signatory vintage single highland malt scotch whisky

distilled 3rd june 1991 ; bottled 25th february 2004 ; bottle #237 of 841 ; 43%

is good, though I don't know a lot about whisky, with a strong taste of wood IMO. The colour is golden.
I don't even know where it come from. I guess someone offered it to me, but I can't remember who. The bottle was unopen!

Perfect with stewed apples and cinnamon!

I have some 12 year old Macallan, but it is unnumbered....I suppose this is their second rate stuff.

Though, your post did remind me to open it up again tonight...

it's not second rate, it's just they your Macallan 12 was bottled by the distiller and not by Signatory Vintage.

Sounds like a nice blend....

I pop'd my Johnny Walker Swing on Friday night.

It has a very smooth taste but a nice blend of spicy's. Worth its price tag Cool
