Yup... All seven of them! OH GOD! That's only one bolt every 5.4 feet. You could be looking at some FF2 action if you fall. At least I will avoid da Z-clipping. Mark of the beast at e-rock only needs 7 draws. Boston only needs 2. And one nut. doc, you should really come check out the slabz of socal sometime. just try not to break any major bonez on the weigh out hear. It's on the list. Not so sure how the bionesis does with slab high stepping tho. I'm thinking the next one i go on will be the grand tetons, Toulolumne(is that how you spell it), Yosemite and squamish. This involves a year of gainful(read: as much overtime as i can physically stand) employment beforehand and about 3 months of free time tho. You'll like Squamish. I'm looking forward to spending this summer there... that is if I don't hurt myself beforehand.

snoopy138 wrote: looking forward to the beerfest tonight. and to climbing at the riverside quarry tomorrow. never climbed at the quarry, even though it's less than an hour and a half away. riverside is kind of ... a shithole. you live in CA and you climb at a quarry? here I thought CA had MONSTER cliffs coming out of the sides of all the walmarts and grocery stores. To think that you must frequent a quarry is sad, and it deserves an emoticon

Friday just before heading to bed, I went and pissed off jglo. I posted my PalindromeBombz on PFTW in their thread. His panties were in a bunch just because I was posting there waiting for the PC to get to the right number. http://www.rockclimbing.com/...post=1811073#1811073

I'll be climbing outside for the first time since I was sick in May. I've been climbing solid 11 in the gym lately, so I reckon I'll be able to jump on a couple of 5.8's for sure! Our Thailand trip has now been pushed back to mid May, but I'm sure we'll still be able to enjoy ourselves, even if it's damn hot! Woo Hoo!!! first time since MAY??? wow, that is a long break. Hope you have/had fun. the trip to thailand should still be awesome...you are on a beach with monkeys that fling poo...what can go wrong?

Actually at a new place that's opened up a stone throw from Reimers, called Monster Rock. I've heard it's fairly good, with even some new route potential, and tomorrow is going to be about 70F. Interesting. Judging by the website, the owner looks to be making a profit off of the rock climbing? Looks a lot like Reimerz. my in-laws live in austin. Every once in a while I go down there and try some rock. I tried to find reimer's ranch, but when the directions seemed to be leading me past a shack/house and onto someone's property....I decided to call it quits. I ended up going to E-rock every time I have been in TX.

He's a climber himself and I guess has owned the land (near Pace Bend) for a number of years. You can see form some of the pics that he's got ladders to get back down to ground level and some signs at the bottom of each route. LMAO! Weren't shuts invented for getting back down to ground level? I thought shuts were invented for windows or something

I suppose the ladders must have other uses too.... via ferrata perhaps. this place is sounding like nelson's rock preserve. I hope they don't get sued too. I have heard a lot about that place. I would love to be able to visit it legally.
