So my buddy and I are going to HP 40 for our first time on the 21st and are staying for about 8 days. Can anyone suggest any classics between V4-V7? Thanks!

Millipede Red Arrow Swirls Popeye Crisifix Lea's Problem Low Down V3s that are well worth the time - Sometimes (really, really fun) - Bum Boy (V3? really?) - Grooverider (V3, but worth the fear)

also are there any other guides other than the one from Dr. Topo? It seems like there is a lot more than just 12 pages worth...

First trip to HP40? Awesome. It just so happens that about 30 or so people from Gainesville, FL are going to be there that weekend, too. You can't miss us - we'll be the pretty big crew possibly flying the Jolly Roger over our campsite. You're welcome to come climb with us, I've got a list of moderates (V4 - 47) that I'm planning on working, and the more people, the better. Some classics I would recommend are: Cuts Like a Knife - V5 Lowdown - V4 Slush Puppy - V4 Genesis - V3 but fun Hammerhead - V5 Groove Rider - Sketchy V3 goodness The Beach - The hardest V4 in the place Orca - V3, but welcome to the HP40 topout That place is sooooo good. My hands are getting sweaty just THINKING about going. See you there.

I enjoyed a lot of the ones already mentioned, especially "bumboy" and "the beach." "Bumboy" felt REALLY hard, but it was late very hot and humid when I was there; terrible friction. Another good moderate is "Earth, Wind, and Fire," v3-ish, kind of highball slab to a groove.
