So when i rack up for the trad line, i can only put one type of pro on my rack (i.e. only small stoppers or only large cams.) I've splatted a considerable number of times trying to get to the top with just small stoppers...

Shouldn't you be able to bring different types of pro?

you have to move over to a different spot (on the bottom), this way, you can rack how you want to.

hit down, right, then back up...let me know if that makes sense.

i only use two of the second stoppers for that route, one at the bottom climb to the jug and rest then one in the crack above the jug, downclimb, rest, pull the crux

I started getting money with nothing to buy (even though I still only have the purple rope) so I bought a full rack. Turns out only the nuts and smallest cam fit anywhere on that route though. I'm eager for a couple more trad routes so that I can utilize the bigger cams.

I use 3 of the smallest nuts and the bigger nut and a cam if I'm bored. It's more fun to just sew it up.

The full version I think will be like 50/50 trad sport, so you'll use it later for sure (remember, you can export your character, then re-import)

I tried to run the game but I get a message saying "unexpected error occurred when running the game" Does anyone know anything about this?

Well Ive been playin on and off all day and my only real complaint is the lack of money making opurtunities. My player is only a 5.6 and has stats of 24 16 14 so Ive still got a few new routes to try. But defenetly would like to see some more routes to try. All in all looks like a VERY fun game. lets just keep it progressing!

Very nice game. Well worth the time to learn how to play.

I just had a problem while I was going for my 17th redpoint attempt on "purity of essence" I made it to the clip after the crux and clipped it (since already there from last attempt) just as the power bar ran out and my climber "flew" out the left hand side of the crag. He was on belay the whole time though.

He never landed so I have to start again. Thanks for the effort making the game

interesting issue.

I had another equaly anoying one that happened in 2 routes so far. My climber got stuk!!

I was too close to an arete ou roof or something and no matter what key I pressed, L, R, U or D, the climber would try but wouldn't move. So I had to wait till he lost power or grip and fall. Frustrating, I was sure going for an onsight!!

it happened some in the original variation too. I'm going to talk to him again today.

Do you guys know specifically what you did to cause it? That would help.

climbed too close to an dihedral or roof.

For my programming skills I can speculate that I "entered" the dihedral or roof by a millimeter.
The collision test didn't stop me from getting "in" the dihedral but once there it stopped me from moving.

Fun game, would look forward to more crags. Even with maxed out stats (100 each) the 5.11 and 5.13 are still challenging due to the sequences and there are a few places you still can't climb around the first few cliffs(projects?).

Here are a few things we discussed and talked about - stats don't max at 100 - they keep going and are unlimited.

Once you get to 5.10 or harder like 5.12, cruxes are going to be maybe 10 FAST key strokes.

There are going to be "projects" in releases - the first person to do it and upload their character file will get to name it and grade it (released in the next update.)

Lots and Lots of crags - and trad routes will be a BIG thing....

A webpage dedicated to it, where you can upload your character and compare etc etc....talk about cruxes that sort of thing. Seems like it'll be a good fun, community project.

I, for one, am quite psyched!

ohh, would be too dificult to make one? So don't, just give the API for us, programming maniacs and we'll do it anyway!!!

Would it be possible to add letters to 5.10's and higher? This could prolong the game a lot longer if you had to work your way through 5.10a, b, c, and d before reaching 5.11's
