I started soloing yesterday when I became a 5.11 climber. I have yet to try to dyno while off-rope though Tongue.

I also downclimbed everything afterwards thinking you had to (if you just sit there for ~5 seconds it'll put you back on the earth).

no matter how much I play and how many routes I do my skill is not going above 5.0 even though Ive climbed 5.6/7's in the game. How the hell do I get more money too? Just collect the $ on the wall? Ive only seen like one of those. Im out of draws now and stuck. I think this game has some real promise though, even though its not working well on my comp I still love it...

Nope haven't had the fly off the screen thing in a while but I haven't dled the new version. also I seem to keep losing quick draws... I started with 5 and then ran out so I bought 6 more and now I'm out again, and I've only died once and I haven't changed areas.... do quick draws disappear when you save?!

(and yea a way to get money would be nice, since I haven't been able to make any money yet and my stats are 23 19 23.)

You get money by finding booty draws and selling them at the store.

That's weird about you being 5.0. Do you have the latest version of the game?

You may want to save your player file and email it to data (text file, at the player select screen, type S and it'll write to the directory)

Its random if draws stay - also, they randomly "appear"

What I'll do is go into the crag, use "x" to view all the routes looking for a bail draw, and then do the routes to get the draws, then sell them.

I tend to keep 8 on my rack and sell the rest.

fyi, if you try to run the new 1.6 in the same directory as 1.5 without deleting the save file you get the following error:

I figured out an easy way to just rack up points, but it doesn't seem that easy. Maybe 45 points every half hour or so. Not sure if I would view it as a bug or feature since its pretty boring.

Haha no, as of yet she still gives me the lovin. I just used the boring tactic to gather a few hundred points during class for a few days. I'm sure it will be fixed in later editions. Mostly did it so I could climb everything there was to be climbed. I certainly don't have any kind of hacker/code skills, nor nearly 1800 combined points!

I 'chopped that picture Wink. I did discover a glitch to rack up points pretty quickly but its monotonous. I reported it to the developer and he'll probably patch that up within a release or two hopefully.

Just to let everybody know, the competition is coming out on March 10th. It was supposed to come out on Feb 29th but deployment issues delayed it.

It's called SimClimber. I haven't tried Solo Joe yet, so I'll have to let you guys do the comparison when you get your hands on it. Solo Joe definitely from what I can see has a much more detailed RPG feel than SimClimber has right now. Anyway, the competition will be good for the soul and could lead to two much better games than otherwise.

There is nothing to download though. The file there is just a test. And no screen shots yet either. Deployment will come on March 10th. It's ready now, but there is a specific reason to wait.

I am sure others have found this, but if you enter in technical sequences/cruxes, where you have to push the buttons and stuff, if you enter it too low, you can be stuck.

Also, if you push the button you are supposed to and then quickly follow it by a button not on the screen (even after the bubble has popped) you fall.

So I grabbed a biner off the climb on Electric banana. I thought I would rap down off it, but my guy is an idiot, he grabbed it, took a whipper and decked. Can I use it in some way?
