I'm taking a trip to The Great Smoky Mountains National Park this Summer. Not sure yet where I'm going to stay. I think on the NC side. Maybe some folks can give me a recommendation. This isn't a "climbing" trip, but I'd like to get away and get a few climbs in with my kids and possibly meet up with a partner for a couple of days. I'm looking through the route section but they aren't mapped and I'm having a hard time identifing which routes are where? Can I get some beta on climbs around the area? I'm a solid 5.9 sport climber. But I enjoy everything. I've started Trad but don't have enough experience yet. I'd like to take my kids to some easy area to top rope some stuff (5.4 or so). I'd also like to know where the climbing areas are around there. Thanks.
