Hey folks, just wondering how long it takes before a video appears... I uploaded on Sunday or so, then I thought maybe something was wrong after not seeing it, so fed it through youtube. Does it get human review that takes a awhile? If so fine, just wondering....

Yes, it sometimes takes a while when the responsible humans neglect to review and validate new submissions on a daily basis. Looks like I may have to kick some video editors in the behind. Anyway, I just validated everything in the queue, so it should be up. Sorry for the delay. DDT

Sweet. Awesome. Long list of other annoying adjectives. I guess this means I don't get to sleep with anyone.

No problem. Sorry again for the delay. And let me also say for the record that this wasn't really the video editors' fault... there are some problems with their admin interface which make video validations very difficult. We're looking into this. DDT

Hey there, Just thought I'd echo the same issue, in case it was a tech problem and maybe had not been entirely fixed. I tried feeding a video from YouTube to a route over the weekend (tried again yesterday), and it's still not up. Thanks! xoom

Great, thanks -- but now I can't seem to figure out how to tie it to this climbing section: http://www.rockclimbing.com/routes/North_America/United_States/Massachusetts/North_Shore/Marblehead/The_Sea_Wall/

Presuming that this is the video in question: http://www.rockclimbing.com/...he_Sea_Wall_712.html I went ahead and linked it to that area...as you can see it is linked because it has the location links under it down near the tags...but it does not show up in the video portion of the section/area page...maybe a bug? edited for clarity

Actually, the Sea Wall is a "Section", not an "Area", so you should have used the SectionID, not the AreaID. It should be fixed now. DDT
