How far is stevens point from eau claire, do you know if there is alot of climbing out this way? I have found a few places, nothing to spectacular...

Stevens Point is a decent drive from Eau Claire. I don't know much about northern Wisconsin but from what I've experienced and read, most climbing is located along western or souther Wisconsin.

That aside, Eau Claire isn't too far from Red Wing and Taylor Falls, neither of which I've been to but other climbers have raved about. I'm hoping to make a trip up that way around September some time. If you're interested in climbing there I can drop you a line.

Sport and TR. I haven't learned trad yet but I'd like to.

I have found a few places around here some bouldering and top roping. I mainly boulder. But Yeah I am down for whatever type of climbing.....
