hole in one... #15 par 3 glen cannon cc bervard nc lemme get this right...141 yards off the tee, to the slight left, to the hole, on the back side and the leaning pole.... and only 2 ppl in the clubhouse....when we arrived

He's lucky cuz a) he hit a hole in one.. b) golf etiquette says that if you get a hole in one then you gotta buy a round for everyone in the club house. having a small number is less expensive :) nice shot :)

I had one about 10 years ago - exactly the same, bourced and then gone. You just stand there staring, thinking did that go in or bounce off the back of the green. Nah, it went in. Didn't it? And then you don't want to stop looking at the hole in case the outcome changes somehow. Lucky bastard. Haven't had one since - although I did hole a 2nd shot on a par 5 with a 5 wood (215yds) which is better score wise than a hole in one. I spent 5 minutes looking for that ball then my friend found it in the hole.

Nice shot! Best outcome I ever had was an eagle on a 310 yd par 4. Drove the green hit the put. I wish every hole were that easy.
