I am new to NJ area and planning to go check out Allamuchy. Anyone here been to this place in recent weeks? Any suggestion on how to reach/find the rock faces will be very helpful. Also, any general suggestion/tips will be good I am not looking for any hardcore climbing, but some warming up types climbs - with top roping preferred. Thanks a lot

Havnt been there to climb in awhile. Most if not all the climbs I can remember are top ropeable. When are you planning on climbing there?

Everything at the 'much (mooch) is pretty easily top roped. Getting to the cliffs is also relatively easy. If you're going to be staying in Jersey, I'd suggest picking up Rock Climbing NJ. It has information on parking, the trails, routes, and tons of history.
