Hi,

I'm looking for good places to climb in France, preferrably north and/or east of Marseille, but no further north than Lyon.

I'm climbing at around 5b level, heard about Ceuse and Gorges du Tarn, but that seems like a bit too hard for my level. Will be there a full weekend, so want a place that has enough easy routes so I don't just flail around, but with enough harder (for me, that is around F6a routes) ones to be a bit of a challenge.

If you have any suggestions, please lemme know!

Extremely close to Marseille (east) : Les Calanques, very wide place.

45 minutes north : Les Dentelles de Montmirail

1 hour NW : Collias, Russan, Seynes

see here :

and here :

All these places are on limestone, equipped, with many routes in this level.

Agree with les Dentelles de Montmirail.

Buis les Baronnies should also be nice this time of year:

Have fun.
