Just got back from spending my Thanksgiving weekend up in Bishop, CA with a bunch of friends. I spent about 90% of my time shooting photos and just spending time with friends and my camera. I took 1,127 photographs in 4 days of shooting so I've got a lot to go through. Here is one I pulled out.

Mad Rock climber Jess Chen on Iron Man (V4) in the Buttermilks.

I tried to move the Mad Rock mat quickly because I found it's location a bit distracting, but apparently "quickly" = fake looking today.

You're a bit over exposed. With 1000+ images to go through you probably haven't had time to do much for touch ups, but I'd also drop the highlights* on her skin a bit and fix the shine on her nose.

Colours are super vibrant though, and while it's obvious what problem it is without reading the post, it's not the classic iron man traverse shot (not that there's so much wrong with that... I have a couple of those from when I was in Bishop, I'm sure).

*(just for the highlights... the other stuff was just messing around... and my contrast seems to have disappeared [wtf did I do?])

That was my intention with the Madrock pad. Aside from being a good friend Jess is one of the Team Madrock members so I pulled the pad off of her Madrock crash pad and threw it down on the ground there while she was climbing. I've got a series of photos similar to this that I shot that I'm still going through. When I'm done I'll see if anyone over there is interested in them.
