Generally, what is/are the best night/nights to go to the UofC bouldering wall? - is there ever any nights that don't seem as busy as the rest?

I haven't been there in a few months, but I've never been there and seen it busy. We used to go on Fridays, when everyone else was out drinking beer. Then we would go drink beer afterwards.

monday, wednesday, friday seem to be less busy from 8:00 - 11:00. But last night (thursday) everyone else left at around 9:00 .. maybe the less hard-core climbers are starting to get bored comming 2 times a week. Saturday, and Sunday nights are usually dead aswell.

avoid tuesdays if you want to stay away from the crowds. Sunday nights are usually quite dead, thursdays arent too bad when its gets on the late side, and wendesdays arent too crazy either.

Why would you want to aviod the crowds? Everyone is really nice. Lots of hardcore climbers go tuesday, and it's a great way to improve, just by watching them. They will also be more then happy to show you some problems, and give some good beta. And you dont have to buy a pass on tuesday nights! btw: the guy that cheaks on saturdays said if he ever sees me without a pass again he is going to call security

I don't mind watching climbers but I'd like a piece of wall as well. It's frustrating when there's a large number of people on the wall... I guess it just depends whether I'm there to climb hardcore or just hangout. I've never been checked for a pass yet - mind you, I am a UofC student but regardless, I wasn't even aware that there were people who checked passes on the bouldering wall.
