My Venoms are on their last breath and im looking to either replace them with another pair of venoms or try something new and go with the Cobras.
To anyone who has tried the cobras:
What do you think so far? Strengths, weaknesses, sizing advice?
To anyone who has worn both the Venoms and the Cobras:
Can I expect these to be of a similar fit? or should I size up or down?

but Banta asked about sizing up or down. Now, really it's simple: the Cobra ice tools don't come in sizes, and the Venom and Cobra are not in the slightest comparable tools. The fact is, we see what we want to see. There are more than a few folks on this site that love to catch people not using the search function before they post. Banta was accosted by some jockstrap on a crusade. If you too had the itch to pin him up, then you're probably on the same ill founded offensive.
As far as the sizing issues go, the shoes run similarly. That said, the Cobras, like a Moc, will stretch endlessly. Ultimately, they're different enough from each other, though, that I'd have to ask what kind of climbing you're hoping to do in them before I could give an answer. Also, and this is in no way meant to be antagonistic, what do you not like about the Venoms? What are you hoping you'll like more about the Cobras?

Not quite, because I didn't bother reading his post on the assumption that it was another couldn't-bother-to-search threads.
Which it is, as I just found about 5 threads about cobra vs venom. However, I'm not as nice as the first responder and simply can't be bothered to post the links.

Not that I completely doubt your findings, but what are you searching for and what exactly did you find? I, for one, didn't find any thread that would answer the original questions, but, of course, judging by your post count (despite the fact that we joined the site at about the same time) you know your way around this place better than I.
