Hi there,
I will be in Lebanon this summer (for the months of July and August) and can not imagine a summer going by without doing some outdoor climbs. I don't know any climbers out in Lebanon, so if you need a partner to explore some routes with feel free to contact me... I'm trying to figure out where if any established routes or areas are... I'm sure there will be plenty of new terrain, so first ascents are probably a free for all- although I really could care less about that, I'd just like to get up on the rock...

i have been in south Lebanon last year. i had not chance to climb becouse of my duty and the location I was.
CLimbing route (sports and trad) are located mostly on Mt. Lebanon up to the north. be aware, if you travel on the south (along the safety area), that there are some places fully covered by unexploded devices likes cluster mines.
