I'm looking at buying my first crash pad and would like to see what kind of experience people have had with different types of pads i'm on a budget since i'm in school but am willing to put in the extra cash if neccesary i'm looking at either the mad rock pad or metolius stomp pad but am open to suggestions.

Not to mention, the fact that you posted on here means that the thread cannot be deleted, only his post can. I've seen some decent ones here for cheap: http://wildernessexchangeunlimited.com/ From everything I've read, both the Metolius sketch and Mad Rock Mad Pad are good for beginners. Just don't buy the Lauch pad on its own! It's only for extra padding! Just thought I'd warn ya.

Save up and buy one of the midrange pads. Getting a cheap pad guarantees that you'll end up replacing it before you've gotten your money's worth. The Organic Full Pad is equivalent to the Metolius Boss Hog, and is fifteen bucks cheaper. Plus that whole best-foam-in-the-industry thing.

Agreed, Forget the cheap pad, get an Organic Full Pad! your ankles will thank you! The organic pad will last you a lot longer, and besides that, Josh is a really cool guy to deal with!
