Well i need some help! I am trying to set up a top rope in Conn at Ragged. I have about 60ft of webbing enough to run over the cliffs edge. There is one tree 50 feet from the cliffs edge that i can anchor to. This one anchor is not enough. What is the safest way to set up two more anchors. Can i tie a figure 8 on bight in the middle of the webbing and throw a stopper nut on a quickdraw, Or should i just clip two more runners to the master point draws that are hanging over the cliff and set up to more anchors. Thanks for help. Pictures are helpful too.

Yep - there are a dearth of trees to use at Ragged. I frequently have to throw some gear into the top of the cliff - and some of those placements are a little tough to get. Use more rather than less. It sounds to me (because you don't have much extra webbing) that you would be better to anchor to the tree with the long piece of webbing, then anchor to your pro with separate webbing & quickdraws, and hang them over to the master point. Equalize them as best you can, and don't forget to use two biners for the rope to run through (not just one locker).

Is that the only tree around? I would spend the $30 and get 100 more feet of webbing, then you can tie your gf or wife up in webbing like a mummy and post it here. Bonus points if you can a pic of the cat climbing up it.
