is it just me and everybody else that was there last weekend or is this place way way under rated? We were getting killed on the sixes and usually nines aren't a problem.

You mean sandbagged....Tongue

I honestly expected to read something more along the lines of, "why don't more people climb here!? the Poison Ivy Wall is great!!"Laugh

I highly doubt that there is a wholesale 3 grade sandbagging at the PIW. Where do you normally climb?
If it is in the gym, then chances are, the gym routes are severely over-graded.

Poison Ivy Wall? Sounds appealing.

My favorite in the area is the Leprosy Wall, but I'm also partial to Spinal Meningitis Wall.

I have only climbed there around four times but from my experience i thought they were pretty fair. Some feel harder because they can get dirty and that makes some of the holds challenging to stay attached to. On the other hand some of them felt a lot easier then their grade. It all depends on your style of climbing i guess.

I loved climbing there, I climb at rockville in hamilton, nj. Maybe we were just having a bad day but thats' hard to believe. It could've also been the fact that we haven't been out leading in quite some time. All important factors.

Grades are in line with Gunks ratings. Not (inflated) gym ratings.

I would say a little Soft compared to alot of climbs at the gunks. Finding your way through the bolts on some climbs here is actually harder then placing gear sometimes.
