Sterling Rope will be accepting old climbing ropes of any brand for recycling during Rocktoberfest. Anyone who turns in an old rope to them for recycling will be entered into a raffle for a new rope!

Not sure why the mods moved this to general? Because if you don't turn in your rope at the 2009 Roctoberfest and are not present Sat. night you will not have a chance to win a new rope.

It was I who moved the thread. The OP wasn't about Rocktoberfest. It was all about turning in your old ropes.
Yes, if you can go climb. Even better if you are at Rocktoberfest.
This thread still doesn't warrant being in the Events forum, IMo.
