What a great party we had last night at Cinema Paradiso. Personally, my only regret is that I nearly took that one guy's head off with the brick of chalk (a badly aimed throw... sorry about that!).
One-hundred-thirty people attended Florida's first-ever showing of the REEL ROCK FILM TOUR... a fantastic response, in my mind! I'm really grateful to everyone who attended, and especially thankful to those who supported and helped promote the event:

Congrats to Glisel Bisbal and Alex Infante, winners of the "Burly Forearm Contest". Sixty-eight people put the squeeze on the grip-strength callipers and we collected a total of $75 during the contest (thanks to someone for coughing up the extra bucks...) So, after adding my matching challenge of $50, I'll be mailing a check for $125 tomorrow to the Tyrus Bachar Living Trust. Well done, everyone! We have a great little climbing community down here.

Just wanted to thank you again for the fun evening. I thought it was really cool how many people showed up to support the event. I hope we can do again next year.
