Wednesday, December 04, 2002 Campbell River RCMP have identified a climber found dead on Mount Doogie Dowlel on Bute Inlet as Nathan Smith, 26, of Black Creek. He had not returned as schedule after leaving for a camping and hiking trip. A search Friday found his boat and later his body. He was hiking toward the mountain's summit when he fell down a steep cliff. Story courtesy of www.canada.com
