My body does not regulate heat very well. I don't sweat at all, so unless it is pretty cold out, I get really hot when I climb. It is not really spray because my body is fairly deformed. I just get really hot if I don't.

When I am in Greece, I strip down and lay out in the sun naked …. Incidentally, so do the women….Don’t fix it if it isn’t broken…

It makes me uncomfortable to have all these half naked people around me, especially when there's not even a pool within a million miles.
It's not neccesary! Outside is less of a problem (Somehow I see less people climb without shirts outside), but in the gym they are too close.
Maybe the most compelling reason for me to build a wall inside my house actually.
Just in case you where wondering, I'm not a nudest.

At fitness gyms they have rules regarding shirtlesness in the exercise area, and they even have a special place for all the naked people to strut their stuff. It's called a dressing room.

In a climbing gym we don't all lay down on the same equipment in each others sweat. Why don't you wear what you want let others be.

Just wondering, do you avoid the beach too?
I'm not a big fan of having mens sweaty bodies rubbed in my face, but it's climbing, they're not going to have their torso wrapped around your neck.
You seem to have a phobia of bodies. Being shirtless is not the same as being naked, unless one has genitals sprouting from their chest.
Really is their choice, and even I can understand why people would want to be shirtless when partaking in outdoor activities.

The gym I used to climb at was never very well air conditioned. It got pretty hot during the summer.

Well in my case shirtless == middle-age fat guy shirtless. It does drive the ladies crazy, but not in a good way.
