I am not sure if you would really call them neighbors.... but one early Sunday morning I woke up to the sounds of males voices and the smell of cigarette smoke. It was a nice spring day and I had my window opened. In the ally outside of my bedroom there were two bums. They were talking about collecting cans and what they were going to eat for breakfast (in MI you can return cans and collect a $0.10 deposit/can). If I told you everything they said nobody would believe me. I was mad because they woke me up, but I was living by myself so I did not want to confront them, I just wanted them to leave. I set off my alarm and let it ring for a while. Turned on my TV and turned the volume up. Talked to my "roommate". They either did not hear me or did not care. I don't know how many nights they stay there throughout the year. They were very interesting. I hope they have found a home, because it is too cold to spend every night outside now.
