Johannesburg – Expert mountain climber Bobby Woods, founder of the Orlando cooling towers bungee jump in Soweto, has died after falling from a cliff on Table Mountain, Western Cape police said on Friday.
Captain Ezra October said the 41-year-old climber was hiking with two friends when the accident happened.
The friends were standing against a rock when it gave way and two of them fell some metres.
Woods was killed on impact and his friend who fell with him had leg injuries and had to be airlifted to hospital.
